Nancy K. Phillips has over thirty years in the tax, accounting and financial services area. She started her CPA practice in 1985. She has a broad financial background having helped many small business and family groups with tax planning and financial decisions over the years.
Additionally Nancy has provided extensive litigation support for attorneys in the areas of community property, divorce, trust and estate embezzlement tracing cash. She has been published several times in professional association’s newsletters, Dallas Women’s Magazine and neighborhood newsletters. She is also an experienced speaker and has spoken to CPA groups, stock brokerage firms, financial planners, persons in the legal field and accounting students at universities.
She received her Competent Toastmaster award in 1988. She consistently gets about twice the continuing education necessary for the professional licenses she holds and has a love for learning. She is a mentor for others in the profession and attends at least three CPA practice management groups on a regular basis. She served as the moderator for the Dallas Chapter of CPA’s Tax Discussion Group for many years. She is a member of the Dallas Chapter of CPA’s, the Texas Society of CPA’s, the Financial Planning Association and the Dallas Estate Planning Council. She previously served on the Dallas Women’s Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Council.
